Health Fairs

St. Joseph and Redwood Memorial Hospitals' Annual Health, Wellness and Resource Fair

February 3, 2018, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Annual Health, Wellness and Resource Fair features booths from various departments at the hospitals and community partners offering health testing, health information and more.

The following screenings are included in the blood draw coupon:

  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (tests electrolytes, sugars, and kidney function)
  • Hemogram (tests for anemia)
  • Lipid Panel (tests cholesterol and triglycerides)
  • Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

**Note that blood draws are not offered at the health fair, but instead at the General Hospital campus Outpatient Laboratory during specified dates/times. The blood draw coupon allows you to take advantage of the special health fair pricing. The coupon must be presented at the time of the appointment. Free testing generally includes:

  • Fingerstick (checks cholesterol, glucose and anemia)
  • Blood pressure
  • Body fat
  • Bone density

Health and Safety information

Over 40 hospital departments and 50 non-profit partners usually participate in health fair making it one of the largest events of its kind on the North Coast. Health and Safety information of various kinds is available to the public. Popular exhibits include the giant walk-thru colon and mini-dental fair.
