College of American Pathologists (CAP), the leading organization of board-certified
pathologists that advocates excellence in pathology and laboratory medicine
The peer-led accreditation process includes an on-site inspection of the
laboratory’s records, as well as an examination of staff qualifications,
equipment, facilities, safety and management.
“CAP re-accreditation is a direct reflection of the hard work and
professionalism of our lab staff,” said Warren Spalding, Area Director
of Laboratory Services. “It also indicates that we have the equipment,

St. Joseph Hospital Outpatient Laboratory Services provides quick, affordable medical testing and treatment. Every laboratory
staff member is a Certified Phlebotomist and the lab’s Clinical
Laboratory Scientists average more than 20 years of medical experience.
